Kokedamas are balls of moss that house a plant. They have been crafted for more than 500 years in Japan.

They represent a 'piece of nature' to be enjoyed as a blessing.

If you have been given a kokedama, or are thinking of giving a gift, you should know that you are trying deepen that bond that unites you with the other person.

In other words, what you are transmitting to that person is that you want to go one step further and connect more deeply with them, either in a romantic relationship or friendship, family..

Enjoy as a purifying element in your house.

Studies have shown that houseplants offer a slew of mental and physical health benefits. There are many varieties that help purify the air, relieve stress and even promote productivity.

How to care for your Kokedama?

Your kokedama is crafted with moss, coconut choir and organic, slow-release fertilizer, which will nourish your plant for up to two years—until it's time to replant your kokedama.

Care Instructions:

Always make sure to fill up the water cup with distilled or reverse osmosis water as needed. Do not allow the cup to run dry.

After two years, it's time to refresh your kokedama by replanting it!

Extract the plant carefully from the string ball by using scissors to cut the ball, be mindful of falling coconut choir. Repot your plant to allow it to grow bigger. The moss can be reused on top of your planter to keep your plant cosy and moist.
